Thomas D. Linford, age 72, a resident of Warrenville, IL, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2018, at home. He was born July 3, 1945 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Avard and Venice Linford.

Tom played football in High School and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant. While serving in Vietnam, he earned many decorations and honors including the Purple Heart.

He worked as Director of Marketing for Teepak in Oak Brook for many years where he met Linda, who he married on February 20, 1988. He retired in 2005 and has enjoyed golf, hunting, bowling and dancing.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, his children, Michelle (John) Linford, Amy (David) Hadley and Thomas Linford, and his grandchildren, Kayla, Noah, Nathan and David.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL, where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Military honors and interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois on Friday at 10:30 a.m.
