Thomas J. Kern's Obituary
Thomas J. Kern, age 75, died Saturday, April 10, 2010. He was born October 2, 1934 in Chicago, IL.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy; his two daughters, Kathy (Tim) Boyce, and Sue (Lou) Varchetto; his step-children, Laurie (Dave) Scavotto, and John Vacala; four grandchildren, Kyle and Mitchell, and Samantha and Toni; three step-grandchildren, Nick, Joe, and Sarah; his brother, Ray (Angie); and his sister, Franny (Fritz) Irmen.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 15, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
