Obituary
Thomas H. Juhnke, age 69, a resident of Rolla, MO, and formerly of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, April 16, at Phelp's County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, MO. He was born October 5, 1937 in Chicago, IL.
Thomas served in the US Army. He then began a career in telecommunications with Illinois Bell, and retired as a PBX man. He loved to hunt and fish and especially fly fish. He also was a remote controlled airplane enthusiast. He loved life and enjoyed constantly learning and taking on new interests and hobbies.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three children, Kristina (Tony) Ramanauskas of Deerfield, WI, Thomas (Nancy) of Channahon, IL, and Daniel (Melissa) of Crown Point, IN; a step-son, Bob (Christine) Alexander of Rolla, MO; nine grandchildren, Andrew and Nicholas, Emma, Claire, Emilia, and Asher, David (Tiffany), and Bobby and Nikolas; two great-grandchildren, Neo and Kaden; his sister, Lois; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andy; his step-son, David; and his sister, Doris Fester.
A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 24, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 310 S. Willow Ave., in Wheaton. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the charity of your choice.
