Thomas Herman, age 76, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died September 28, 2024, at his home in Wheaton. He was born on March 3, 1948.

Born and raised in South Minneapolis, Tom attended Roosevelt High School and later graduated from The University of Minnesota. Tom started out wanting to be the "The Recreation Director of the World" but transitioned into sales where he fulfilled his Mother's prophecy that he would earn his living with his mouth. He spent the rest of his working years in sales and developing new talent. In retirement, he became a small business owner and shared his sales knowledge through CRO Executive Roundtable.

Tom married his blessing, Gayle, on August 21, 1971. He was extremely proud of his four children. He was an active church member and served in local church Leadership. He used his business acumen serving on the board of Romania Leadership Ministries. He was a lifelong supporter of Minnesota sports teams. He had a creative side he expressed on stage kicking off company conferences.

On Saturday, September 28, he was freed from pain and is home with his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gayle Herman, his mother Phyllis, his children, and their partners. Mara, Joe, Abi, Mike, Katie, Bobby, his brother Jim (Dana), and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Leo. He was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Friend, and child of God.

A Celebration of life will be held at Wheaton Bible Church ( 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185) on Thursday, October 3rd at 1 p.m.; following the celebration at church, please join us for cookies and coffee. A visitation will be held  Thursday, October 3rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N. Main Street, Wheaton IL, 60187).
