Thomas M. Comparini, age 79, a resident of Winfield, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Silverado Memory Care in St. Charles, Illinois.

Tom graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Business and Accounting. He earned a Master's Degree in Taxation from DePaul University. He worked for the State of California, Chicago Office, for thirty years.

He enjoyed jogging, reading, nature and Chicago sports. He followed Chicago high school basketball. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Vicki. His Catholic faith was important to him. He was a joke teller with a dry sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Comparini, two children, Jeanette (Bob) Schroer, and Brian (Laura) Comparini, six grandchildren, Alexis (Kevin) Wilson, Hannah Schroer, Megan (Clay) Shelton, Luke (Masha) Schroer, Joseph Comparini and Emma Schroer, and one sister Kathy (Hank) Pierce of Texas.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, Wheaton. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Winfield. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
