Theresa L. Sowa (nee Zack), age 82, of Wheaton, IL, beloved wife of Stanley; loving mother of Cindy (Russ), Bonnie (the late Ken), Jill (Bruce), Dan (Jan), Larry (Diane) and Laura (Rob); cherished granny of Claire (Tim), Elliott, Kate (Pat), Kevin (Nickie), Philip (Rachel), Christopher, the late Ryan, Michael, James, Thomas and Cayce, and 5 step-grandchildren; mother-in-law of the late Steve Wilson.

Theresa was born on January 11, 1933, and passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015. She and Stanley were married for 62 years. She loved being in Chicago during the summers with family and friends and in Florida during the winter with friends. Theresa was an expert in knitting and provided hand-knit creations to family, as well as generously donating to needy children. She was also a talented baker.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Prayers will be said at the funeral home the following morning, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. A funeral Mass will be follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church , 300 E. Cole Ave, in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow the Mass at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
