Theresa (Sue) Callahan, aged 92 passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, June 24th at DuPage Care Center.

Born in Kingsport, TN she was raised in Clarksville, TN among many cousins that remained close their entire lives. She is survived by her children, Jeffery (Marsha) Horne of Windsor, OH; Michael (Penny) Horne of Portage, Ml; Matthew (Debbie) Horne of Colorado Springs, CO; Christian (JC) Callahan of Westchester, PA; Deborah (Mark) Soeldner of Wheaton, IL. and Michael Callahan of Ettlingen, Germany. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Gina, Jennifer, Adam, Brandi, Joshua, Cole, Steven, Joseph, Kathryn, Catherine, Andrew, Jeffery, David, Elizabeth, Carolin and Josephin,  plus 15 great-grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Edwin (Ned) Callahan.

Sue and Ned lived in several states before retiring to Murray, KY where they lived for 20 years before returning to Wheaton in 2012.
Sue will be remembered for being a loving person that made everyone feel welcomed.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
