Thelma Lolleta Biller, age 98, a resident of Tabor Hills in Naperville, IL, passed away, peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2019.  She was born August 28, 1920 in Mexico, Kentucky to Jacob and Alta Crider.

Lolleta  married Keith Walker on November 9, 1941. She worked at the East Moline State Hospital for thirty three years, where she was an occupational therapist.   She received several honors including Employee of the year in 1961.  Lolleta was a loving and caring person, who was able to recognize when someone needed help.  She would do whatever she could to help them.  She designed and taught a program to help residents transition to life outside the hospital.  Residents learned how to make grocery lists, shop for food and to prepare meals.  Her husband, Keith passed away in 1964 and Mom began a new phase in her life.

Lolleta loved music!  She enjoyed singing and listening to all kinds of music throughout her life.  After retiring in the '70s, she decided to begin exercising and of course she chose Jazzersize because of the music.  She also enjoyed evenings of dancing at the Coliseum in Davenport, where she met her future husband Loren Biller.  They were married in 1994, and moved to The Meadows of Glen Ellyn in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Dave) Donaldson of West Chicago, grandson, Brad (Jeanne) Donaldson, three great-grandchildren, Kate, Luke and Ryan, as well as several nieces including, Susan and Olivia Garrett, Sheila Sell, Mary Morse, Karin McCay, Mary Ellen Sauer and Kim Terry.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Keith and Loren, her parents, and siblings, Degarth (Clarice) Crider, Juanita (Laverne) Duncan, and Ken (Ruby) Crider, niece Sharon Sell, and nephew Joe Crider.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 9, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
