Mrs. Thanh Nhuyen Thi Le Obituary.

Mrs. Thanh Nhuyen Thi Le, 79 years old, residing in Carol Stream City, Illinois, was called by God into His kingdom in the early morning of May 16, 2024.

Thanh Nhuyen was born in Cao Lanh, Vietnam. From 1965 to 1991, she was an elementary school teacher in Cao Lanh, Dong Thap, Vietnam. Her students loved her thoughtful and caring spirit, and she enjoyed mentoring those who were new to the teaching profession.

In 1991, she and her three sons moved from Vietnam to the United States, reuniting with her husband, Pastor Nguyen Phu Huu. They made it their life's mission to serve God and spread the Gospel in the Reformed Christian Church.

Throughout her life, she served God in partnership with her husband. Their work changed the lives of many people they visited, especially refugees who came to America to start a new life. She was a friend to many and led the Ladies' Auxiliary of Vietnamese New Hope Christian Reformed Church. She loved hosting social gatherings, building community and hearing stories from friends about their lives and families.

To her, everyone was part of her "family." Thanh Nhuyen left a lasting impression on many who fondly remember her kindness and care. Her passing left a mark of sadness for God's children inside and outside the Church.

With nearly 60 years with her beloved husband, Huu, who passed in 2021, she had three sons, Quoc (Walter) Nguyen, Cuong (John) Nguyen, and Dinh Nguyen, and their wives Ha (Diana) Nguyen, Nguyen Tran, and Lan Dinh. She and her husband's legacy carries on through their grandchildren Christine, Alexander, Naomi, Nathaniel, and Evelyn, whom she loved and diligently cared for.

The Visitation will be held at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, on May 24, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on May 25, 2024, at Wheaton Christian Reformed Church, located at 711 E Harrison Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187.

The Interment and Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, located at 1S510 Winfield Rd , Wheaton, IL 60189.
