Suzanne Roberts, 36, of Kula, HI, died suddenly Tuesday, September 14 as the result of being struck by a falling boulder while on duty with the National Park Service at Haleakala National Park.

Suzanne was a 1986 graduate of Wheaton North High School and received her bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Wyoming in Larimee.

She is survived by her parents, James and Elaine Roberts of Punta Gorda, FL; one brother, Gregory (Siegrid) Roberts of Portland, OR; one sister, Cynthia Roberts of Grand Junction, CO; uncle and aunt, Leland (Joanne) Roberts of Wheaton; and cousins, Margaret (Kurt) Tilman of Glen Ellyn, James Roberts of Chicago, Mark (Rebecca) Roberts of Brighton, MI, and Laura (Mark) Branine of Dumas, TX

Arrangements are pending for a private memorial service at the Hultgren Funeal Home, Wheaton and burial at Wheaton Cemetery.
