Susan Kaegler, age 47, a resident of Bollingbrook, since 2004, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, Illinois. She was born January 10, 1968 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to William and Grace Sydow.

Susan graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1987. On October 20, 1990 she married Donald Kaegler. She worked at Deerwood Day Care. While living in Fairfield, California, she worked at Kindercare. In 2004 they moved to Bollingbrook where she continued working with preschool children at ABC Daycare Center in Darien.

She was an active member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Downers Grove, where she worked with young children. She loved being a wife and mother and was active in her daughter's activities. She also lover decorating and caring for her home. She had a natural gift for decorating and enjoyed gardening and visiting with her neighbors.

Susan is survived by her husband, Donald, her daughter, Erin, her mother, Grace Sydow and her twin sister, Sharon Louise Sydow. She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Sydow.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 525 63rd Street, Downers Grove, IL 60516, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, for world missions.
