Susan M. Freedman (nee Dvorak) was born on September 28, 1954 to Robert and Theresa Dvorak. Susie attended St. Daniel the Prophet Parish and St. Barbara High school. She received her Registered Nursing degree from Morton College and spent many years working in hospitals, care facilities, and as a pediatric nurse. She had a special talent for work with the elderly and offered generous, loving care. Susie was quick witted and enjoyed singing and had a wonderful laugh. While Susie lived most of her life in Chicago, she spent the last several years in Naperville and attended SS. Peter and Paul Parish.

Susie is survived by her beloved son Nicholas, her loving mother Theresa, her devoted siblings Bob (Debbie) Dvorak, Mary (Jim) Weis, and Barbara (Bruce) Surran. In addition, she is survived by her precious nephews Brad, Greg, Paul, Steve, Nate, Bob, and sweet nieces Mary and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her  aunts, uncle, and many cousins. Susie was preceded in death by her father Robert and niece Jamie. The family offers special thanks to her friends and the staff at Eden Supportive Living Center in North Aurora for the care given her during this past year.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until chapel prayers at 10:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home , 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Church , 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, Illinois.
