Steven J. Augustyn, age 57, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Presence McAuley Manor in Aurora, Illinois. He was born February 1, 1960 in Chicago, IL.

He was a military buff because he had a great respect for the military. He enjoyed shooting with his prized rifles and guns at the shooting range. He leisurely studied military history, astronomy and zoology. He enjoyed being a bachelor and spent much quality time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Renetta Augustyn of Wheaton; and his sister, Mary of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; his brother, Scott; and his nephew, Jacob.

An interment service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Assumption Cemetery , 1S510 Winfield Road, Wheaton, IL 60189.
