Steve Galas, age 34, a resident of Elgin, IL, died December 20, 2020. He was born July 25, 1986.

Steve was an avid concert goer and enjoyed the Chicago Independent Music scene. Steve loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and his dog. He took great pride in his barbecue smoking skills and sharing his creations with others. He was very proud of being a multi-certified Cisco Engineer and the work he did for U46.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Karen Galas of Carol Stream; his faithful dog, Dude; his uncles and aunts, Matt and Dana Wolze, Norm and Patty Galas, Ron and Anna Galas; cousins, Nikki, Amanda, Stephanie and Cathy; godmother Tina Stifel. He will be dearly missed by his many close friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at American Legion Post 76 in Carol Stream, Illinois when we can all safely gather together to celebrate his life.
