Shub was born June 20, 1950 and grew up in Chandigarh, India. She moved to America in 1977. She graduated from Panjab University with a bachelor's degree. Her husband, Balraj Sharma, followed her to America a few months later, after Shub had established residency. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, massi, auntie, and friend, selfless in everything she did, always taking care of others first. Shub was a strong, independent woman who instilled these values in her children. She worked hard in all aspects of her life and had a successful career in banking before retiring at age 62.

Shub was proceeded in death by her brother,  Dr. Mohan Sood and her loving parents. She is survived by her two sons, who have found success in their lives thanks to the relentless dedication she demonstrated daily. She was also a devoted grandmother who showered her grandchildren with love every day. She was the centerpiece of her family and will be missed dearly.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 11:00am - 12:00pm, followed by a religious service, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 565 Randy Road, Carol Stream, IL, 60188
