Shirley R. Warren's Obituary
Shirley R. Warren, age 78, a resident of Wheaton, since 1969, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 27 at the Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born on May 16, 1937 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She grew up in Chattanooga and married Jerry L. Warren on January 30, 1955. They lived in Chicago until moving to Wheaton in 1969.
Shirley was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in St. Charles. She loved family and close friends, cooking, gardening and animals of all sorts.
She is survived by her son, Jerry W. (Darlene) Warren of Wheaton, granddaughter, Gerri Emily Warren, and three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Emily and Devyn.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Jerry L. Warren, her daughter, Leslie Warren, her son, Daniel Joseph Warren and her parents, Joseph and Irene Marina.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
