Sharon A. Fritz's Obituary
Sharon A. Fritz, age 70, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at home. She was born March 16, 1941 in Offerle, KS.
Sharon was a member of College Church in Wheaton where she had been the Senior Pastor's Executive Assistant for 16 years. She was very dedicated to her family and grandchildren. She loved to travel with family.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wes; her three children, Kurt (Kristi) Fritz of Wheaton. IL, Chris (Aimee) Fritz of Wheaton, IL, and Kara (Steve) Smith of Portage, MI; ten grandchildren, Tate, Cole, Shelby, Luke and Hanna Fritz, Zoë, Caleb and Greta Fritz, and Casey and Carly Smith; and her sister Loretta (Mike) Ashbrook of Monroe, LA.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at College Church in Wheaton, 332 E. Seminary Ave., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Samaritan's Purse, Attn: Donor Ministries, P O Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, www.samaritanspurse.org. Please put the name Sharon Fritz in the memo field of your check.
