Selena Rongo, age 78, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. She was born June 13, 1930 in Campbellsville, KY.

Selena was a member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church in Wheaton, IL and enjoyed the Kupples Klass at church.

She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Rongo; her three children, Kathleen (Earl) Hall of Genoa, IL, Jeffrey (Christy) Rongo of Elmhurst, IL, Kirsten (Pat) Tanzillo of Bartlett, IL; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Joshua, Matthew, Alyssa, Alexandra and Madison; her brother, Thomas (Norma Jean) Stanley of Big Rock, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lavina Peterson.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
