Savita Christian, age 86, passed away at home in Wheaton, IL. She was born January 12, 1938 in India. She was a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery which opened the Path for her to Immigrate to America in 1972 on a nursing visa.    Because of Savita her immediate family and all her siblings were able to immigrate to America and get fully settled to have the "American Dream" as she and her husband - Edmond Christian aspired for.   She was married to Dr Rev Edmond Christian (who passed in Wheaton on Nov 3, 2023).  She is survived by 4 adult children, Meena Macwan, Nirmal Christian, Chris Aryan and Beena Christian.

She was fiercely independent but her Love for her 4 Children came above everything else.   She loved to dance, cook and enjoyed her career as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.  She was raised in the Methodist Church and even traveled to Jerusalem twice in her lifetime.  Sadly she was hit by a car in 2007 in severely injured -  which caused her to have numerous health conditions and additionally she had late stage Dementia Alzhiemers.  She bravely tried to stay strong for her children physically and mentally till her last breath.

A visitation will be held Saturday May 11, 2024 from11am to 2pm at Hultgren Funeral Home 304 N Main Street. Wheaton IL 60187.
