Sasha Richelle Rios, daughter of AM1160 Host, Sandy Rios, passed from this life on July 18th, 2009 at 5:30 AM.
Born July 17, 1974, Sasha is survived by her mother, Sandy, her father, Willie Rios of Boulder, Colorado, and her brother, Jeremy Rios, of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Beautiful, but broken, Sasha lived at home for the first twenty years spending the last days of her ilfe in the wonderful care of Marklund at Millcreek. German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer said this: "Not only do the weak need the strong, but the strong need the weak." The profound effect Sasha had on her family and those who cared for and loved her will be felt for generations to come.

Sasha' life will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in visitation from 4-7 PM followed by a funeral service at 7PM both at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 East Roosevelt Road in Wheaton.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Carmi, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marklund Children's Home in her honor would be greatly appreciated.
