Sarah "Sue" Scott, age 92, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died in her sleep on Friday, November 16 at the Dupage Convalescent Center. She was born on October 27, 1915 in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Sarah was a registered nurse for 25 years and a successful real estate broker for the following 15 years. She and her husband Doug were long-time members of Wheaton Bible Church. They were active in the Berean Sunday School Class and were passionate about serving the Lord. She was known by her family and friends as a woman of great faith.
Sarah is survived by six children, Darolyn (David) Christiansen of Wheaton, Douglas W. Scott of Wheaton, Richard (Marilyn) Scott of Carol Stream, Sandra Scott of Wheaton, Laura (Peter) Pearson of Woodstock, CT, and Cherry (Chuck) West of Loudonville,OH, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Douglas H. Scott, her sister Jennette Crozier and her parents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.
