Obituary
Ruza Rodriguez, age 85, a resident Warrenville, died Saturday, March 11, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. She was born September 3, 1920 in Yugoslavia.
Ruza immigrated to New York City from Yugoslavia as a young woman. She met her husband, Ruben Rodriguez and they were married and started a family. She and Ruben and their three children relocated to Chicago in the early 1960's, where they remained for the rest of their lives.
She is survived by her three children, Ruza (Jeffrey) Leslie of Warrenville, Ruben (Sue) Rodriguez of Yorkville, and Rene (Lisa) Rodriguez of Mt. Prospect; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben.
Services and interment are private at Warrenville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ruza Rodriguez Memorial Fund, c/o 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, IL 60187.
