Ruth M. Schacht's Obituary
Ruth M. Schacht, age 86, a resident of Winfield for 35 years, died Saturday, November 11, at the Wynscape Healthcare Center in Wheaton. She was born on February 26, 1921 in East Orange, New Jersey to Walter and Jessie Minich.
Ruth is survived by three daughters, Penny (Jim Kiefer) Gilmour of Minnatonka, MN, Susan (Bryan) Born of Wheaton, and Maggie (Brent) Mutsch of Singapore, two grandsons, Eric (Judy) Born and Charles (Sarah) Gilmour, two great-grandchildren, Campbell Gilmour and Kyler Born, and her sister, Margaret Mettler of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Schacht and her parents.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Ste. #100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
