Obituary

Ruth O. Roski, age 90, a former resident of Colony Park in Carol Stream, died Saturday, July 14 at Alden Valley Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Bloomingdale.

She was born on February 26, 1922 in Chicago to Philip and Lillian Hopper. Ruth worked at Wheaton College in the Food Service Department for many years. She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Streamwood. Her passion in life was her family, whom she prayed for every day. She loved to spend time reading devotionals and the scripture.

She is survived by four children, Robert Roski, Rhoda (Gene) Cox, Rosemarie Richardson, and Ronald (Vicki) Roski, five grandchildren, Albert, Carrie, Billy, Faith and Tim and two great-grandchildren, Alyissa and Logan. She is also survived by one sister, Dorothy Marcangelo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Sr, one son, Raymond Jr., one granddaughter, Sandra Marie Roski and one brother Philip Raymond Hopper.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Keller officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 A.M. until the time of service.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Arlington Heights.
