Ruth J. Fountain's Obituary
Ruth J. Fountain, age 70, a resident of Wheaton for 64 years, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Lexington Healthcare Center in Streamwood. She was born on October 16, 1940 in Takoma Park, Maryland.
Ruth enjoyed handcrafts and traveling to England. She worked at the foodservice department at Wheaton College where she started as a dishwasher and worked her way up to the dinning hall.
She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth R. (Doris) Fountain, Jr. of Kirksville, MO, Phillip J. (Rozanne) Fountain of Racine, WI, and Mary J. La Rosa of Wheaton; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Bertha Fountain, one brother David P. Fountain.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 17, from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services at 5:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will be private at Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
