Rosemary S. Ziska's Obituary
Rosemary S. Ziska, nee Lisy, age 94, a resident of Wheaton since 1963, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at Johnson Health Care Center at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL. She was born October 7, 1917 in Chicago, IL.
She was a member of the Wheaton Community Association, the Compass Club of Wheaton, Executive Director of the Greater Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, and had been an officer at the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. She was a Trustee of the College of DuPage and also of the Illinois Community College Board.
She is survived by her son, Melbourne Ziska Jr. and his close friend, Esther Loth, both of Naperville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melbourne Ziska Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL. Interment will be private at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Women's Outreach at the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 715 N. Carlton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
