Rose Lunghofer, age 86, a resident of Wheaton since 1958, died Tuesday, December 20 at the Central Du Page Hospital in Winfield. She was born in Chicago on August 8, 1919 to Jack and Mary Grizely.
Rose worked for Jewel Food Stores in Wheaton and Glendale Heights from 1958 until 1981. She worked for Denson's Medical Supply from 1989 until retireing last March.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane, two brothers, George and Mike Grizely, three sisters, Ann Whaling, Chris Hawkins and Connie Haas, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, George in 1988, her parents and thee siblings.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, from 3 until 9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where prayers will be said at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, December 23. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 300 E. Cole St., in Wheaton. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
Masses are prefered.
