Ronald W. Patton's Obituary
Ronald W. Patton, age 74, a resident of West Chicago, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 6, 2008. He was born on December 17, 1933 in Chicago.
He graduated from Mt. View HIgh School of Mt. View, OK in 1952. On June 11, 1957 he married Madeline Krier while he was in the Army. He retired as a correctional officer for the state of IL in 1995. He enjoyed bow hunting and his hunting dogs.
Ron is survived by his wife, Madeline, six children, Rhonda (Kevin) Maloney of West Chicago, Cheryl (David) Lienhard of Sycamore, Ross (Lois) Patton of Cohasset, MN, Craig (Amy) Patton of Winfield, Ryan Patton of Winfield, and Charisse (Randy) James of Stillman Valley, IL, 15 grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Sean, McKenzie, Hillary, Jared, Brodie, Elliot, Leah, Hannah, Sarah, Eliana, Lilly, Noah, Madeline, and Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Patton.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
