Ronald H. Martenson's Obituary
Ronald H. Martenson, age 77, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died at home on April 29, 2012.
He was born August 9, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Harry and Amanda Martenson. Ronald was very proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. He was a long time employee of Ashland Chemical Company, and a member of the DuPage Angling Society, as well as Naperville Rod and Reel. He was an avid fisherman and a great appreciator of the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lyn Martenson; his children Melissa (Joseph) Sheehy and Glenn (Tommi Bradshaw) Martenson; his sister Betty Roth, his sister-in-law Carolyn Stratton; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Ella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, Bob Martenson.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 3, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home. A private interment will follow at a later date.
