Ronald J. Fischer's Obituary
Ronald J. Fischer, age 75, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, February 3, 2014, at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL. He was born February 26, 1938 in Cleveland, OH.
Ron served in the Ohio National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith Fischer, nee Magyar, of Wheaton; three children, Jeffrey Fischer of Glenview, IL, James (Kimberly) Fischer of Downers Grove, IL, and Laura (Phil) Zeller of Vincent, OH; five grandchildren, Lauren and Kelsey Fischer, and Meghan, Brittany and Zachary Zeller; his brother, Edward W. (Sondra) Fischer Jr. of Northfield, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. There will be a Masonic Service held during the visitation. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Gary United Methodist Church, at the address above; or to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
