Obituary

Roger Person, age 89, a resident of Carol Stream, died Saturday, August 4 at home in his apartment at Colony Park in Carol Stream. He was born on November 19, 1917 in Chicago to Ernest and Ella Person.

Roger served as an Army Air Corps Medic during W.W.II. He was a professional musician and music teacher at the Carnavelli School of Music and at Mueller School of Music in Elmhurst. He was a member of the VFW.

He is survived by one sister, Eleanor (Richard) Lund of Wheaton; one nephew, James (Kim) Lund of Aurora; and two nieces, Julie Lund of Wheaton and Lorraine (Bruce) Bouma of Jamestown, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mildred Person.

Services will be held Saturday, August 11 at 1:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, where visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until time of service. Interment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery in Blue Island.
