It is with great sadness that the Otero Gonzalez family announces the passing of Roberto Otero, at the age of 58. He passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on December 07, 2018. He was born to parents Lydia Salinas and Juan Otero, on April 5, 1960, in Las Piedras, PR.
He married Ana Gonzalez, the love of his life, in 1981, who survives him. He always lived true to the promise he made her the day of their marriage, for 37 years, he protected, loved and cherished her until the end. Besides his wife, he leaves his children Robert Otero Jr., Leslie A. Otero, Juan G. Otero, Henry Feliciano, Samantha Perez, and Wilman Perez. He also leaves behind his beloved parents Juan Otero & Lydia Salinas; uncles, aunts, siblings, brother in laws, sisters in laws and grandchildren.
Roberto touched so many lives with his infectious smile and will be remembered as a selfless, extraordinary humanitarian. He was loved by many for his kindness, strength, dedication, compassion and the love he showed to everyone he met. Always to be remembered by his wife and his children as an amazing father and husband that gave his all for his family and the memories he's left behind will be forever be engraved in our hearts. He taught us that there was always time to play, walked through life teaching us with love and patience, and also taught us to appreciate every day we have on this earth. His positive attitude was something that was so beautiful to see, no matter how bad a day was, he would take the little good and make the bad day nonexistent. He was an amazing husband, son, nephew, brother, brother in law, grandfather and father in law. If you were only lucky enough to have met him, he would always be the one to bring a smile and make you laugh no matter how bad your day was. He will always be remembered with so much love and happiness.
Family and Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Collison Family Funeral Home and Crematory , 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792. The burial will follow on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 in All Faiths Memorial Park , 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707 at 1:00 p.m.

Se casó con Ana González, el amor de su vida, en 1981, que le sobrevive. Siempre será recordado como un padre increíble que dio todo por su familia y los recuerdos que dejó atrás quedarán grabados para siempre en nuestros corazones.
