Roberta G. " Bobbie" Sorvillo, nee Brown, 75, a long time resident of Carol Stream, died peacefully Sunday May 25 after a long struggle with illness. She was born March 20, 1933 in Michigan City , IN. Her passion and love for God was seen by many, as she touched hearts by volunteering and by singing in her church choir. "Bobbie" was known by her family and friends as a very giving and loving person. Family meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren, as she loved to take them on lots of her special "grandma outings" She also loved to cook and bake incredible desserts for her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, James; her children, Hank (Maria) Jarosinski, Laurie Contreras, Jamie (Ken) Davis, Lisa (David) Welch, Denise (Ray) LaForte, Dawn Liss; her grandchildren Adam Jarosinski, Johnny (Barbie) Capone, Kelly (Martin) Duffy, Lance (Kim) Contreras, Grace (Jose) Arreguin, Dusty, Katie, Jackie, and Cheyanne Contreras, Megan (Dave) Heyndericks, Chad and Ethan Davis, Amanda Haderly, Sharon Welch, Danny and Jocelyn LaForte; her 13 great-grandchildren; and her brothers Larry (Barbara) Brown,and Merle Brown

A memorial service will be held Wednesday 10:00-12:00 AM on May 28 at All Souls Church 25W741 Jewel Road Wheaton with Pastor Larry Greathouse officiating. Interment following at Elmlawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.
