Robert "Bobby Z" M. Zurawski, age 71, a resident of Wheaton, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was born December 23, 1950 in Chicago to Raymond & Jeannette Zurawski.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother & uncle who loved to play guitar almost as much as he loved to cook. Anyone within a five mile radius could smell his mouth watering brisket or smoked salmon when he was grilling. When he wasn't manning the grill he could often be found at open mikes, performing with friends or dancing with his wife while others performed. He will be dearly missed by all that knew & loved him.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 35 years, Sandra; his children Natalie (David) Nelson & Nicole Bathje; his grandchildren Kristen (Alexander) Minder, Joshua Hallerud, Margaret Hallerud, Eleanore Nelson, Cheryl Nelson, August Bathje & Amanda Bathje; his great-granddaughter Everly Villafuerte; his brother Ray (Barbara) Zurawski. Also survived by his nephews Christopher Zurawski, David Zurawski, David Kingsley & his niece Cathy Guenther.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL, where a memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
