Robert (Bob) Steinberg, 61, of South Fulton, TN passed away peacefully on August 22, 2016. He was born on January 30, 1955 in Milwaukee, but called Illinois his home for many years following.
Bob graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1973, followed by North Central College in 1977. He worked as the Warranty Manager at Navistar for 33 years before retiring to Tennessee in 2012. His life passions included model trains, fishing, boating, and sharing his sense of humor with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christine; daughter, Amanda (Clinton) Perrot; son, Robert Steinberg Jr.; his mother, Joan Steinberg; sister, Gail (Rodney) Covenah; his sister-in-law, Gladys Steinberg; nephews, Eric Steinberg and Aaron (Valary) Steinberg; his mother-in-law, Nadia Mudryj; and countless others.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Steinberg; and brother, Ronald Steinberg.
A visitation will be open to family and friends on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 4 p.m. until the start of a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL.
