Robert L. Pugsley, age 66, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Saturday, December 10, 2005 due to complication from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, at the Wynscape Healthcare Center in Wheaton. He was born on November 17, 1939 in Chicago to Leon and Harrietjane Pugsley.
He retired from First National Bank of Chicago after 35 years in the computer services department. He then taught CPR and other health classes in the community through Central Du Page Hospital. He was very active in church activities throughout his life including extensive involvement with Christian Service Brigade.
Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Geraldine, nee Shepard, four children, David R.(Anna) Pugsley of Wheaton, Steven G. (Kathryn) Pugsley of Colorado Springs, CO, Janet L. (Dale) Luedtke of Wheaton, and Jonathan D. (Stephanie) Pugsley of Glen Ellyn, 9 grandchildren, his father and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, from 3 until 9 p.m. at the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 am at the church.
Interment will be held privately.
