Robert F. Otto, age 80, a resident of Wheaton for many years, died Thursday, August 19 at Hines VA Hospital in Maywood. He was born on July 6, 1930 in Chicago.
Bob served in the US Marines during the Korean War. For many years he worked for Congoleum Floor Covering in sales and marketing. He was active in the DuPage County Marines.
He loved to read and listen to music. He enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lucille, one son Dr. Robert Otto of Oswego.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Church, Cole St. east of Main St. in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family prior to the mass at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton from 8:30 until prayers at 9:30.
Interment will be held at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
