Bob M. O'Connor, age 84, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Rainbow Hospice in Park Ridge, IL. He was born September 6, 1930 in Chicago, IL.

Bob grew up in Oak Park, IL and was a 1953 graduate of Bradley University and a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Bob enjoyed science fiction, going to the movies, bran muffins, smoking his pipe, eating and occasionally playing the slots at the local casino. Bob loved his late wife, Pat, and his family.

He is survived by his two children, Jennifer (James) Rowe of Evanston, IL, and Chris (Lisa) of Shrewsbury, MA; five grandchildren, Megan (Robert) Henrich, TJ and Beth Rowe, and Katie and Alex O'Connor; his two great-grandsons, Robby and Joseph Henrich; his sister-in-law, Kay (Hal) Barber of Titusville, FL; and his beloved nieces, Linda, Laurie, Karen and Nancy.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
