Robert J. Macht, age 98, a resident of Naperville, died April 14,2020 at Harbor Chase of Naperville.  He was born June 26, 1921 in Chicago, IL to George and Ida Macht.

Bob had a great love for the family home on Jewell Road in Wheaton where he lived most of his life.  He enjoyed vacations from Maine to California and especially Las Vegas.  He loved to follow the stock market and to sit in the sun at Wrigley Field, Arlington Park and in his later years at Harbor Chase.  He was a great storyteller and one of his proudest accomplishments was his participation in "Wheaton Remembers", a national award winning documentary of life in Wheaton during his childhood: https://vimeo.com/299482099

He is survived by his children, Kevin (Young-Ju) Macht of Oxnard, CA, Robert (Lisa) Macht of Poulsbo, WA, Jeannine (John) Adams of Winfield, IL  Holly (Ken) Channon of Wheaton, IL; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary, and his son, George.
