Obituary

Robert L. "Bob" Douglas, age 77, a resident of Winfield, died Wednesday, February 23, at home. He was born June 8, 1927, in Chicago.

Mr. Douglas served in the Navy during World War II. He was a retired graphic arts manager and electrotyper. He was also a member at St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield. He was an avid reader and bird watcher.

He is survived by his two children, Denise (Jack) Schmitt, and Rob (Mary) Douglas all of Carol Stream; and five grandchildren, Laura (Chris) Grodoski, David, & Carrie Schmitt, and Bill & Emily Douglas.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Margaret; his parents, William and Cordelia (nee Montmorency) Douglas.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 26, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, 0S 233 Church St., in Winfield. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
