Robert Knippen's Obituary
Robert Knippen, age 92, a lifetime resident of Wheaton, IL, died Jan. 30, 2012, at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheaton, Illinois. He was born August 23, 1919 in Wheaton and was a member of the Wheaton VFW Post 2164.
He is survived by his step-children, Leroy "Buzz" Gauger and Tom Gauger; several step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert chose to have his body donated for medical study. There will be no services, however memorial gifts may be directed in his honor to CNS Home Health & Hospice, 690. E. North Ave. Carol Stream, IL 60188 or VFW Post 2164, 0N731 Papworth Street, Wheaton, IL 60187.
