Robert Thomas Hellman's Obituary
Robert Thomas Hellman, age 79, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at home. He was born August 19, 1932 in Chicago, IL.
Bob was proud to have served in the Korean War. He was a great fisherman and enjoyed fishing with Paul Thorne and Tom Waddel. He had many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis, nee Peterson; his son, Robert (Kelley); nine grandchildren, Erik, Richard and Michael Hellman, and Jared, Sophia, Ryan, Brandon, Evelyn and Tarun. He is also survived by his aunt, Kay Dickholtz.
He was preceded in death by his son, Martin.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service to be held at 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to CNS/Hospice of DuPage, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
