Robert G. Gatza

Robert “Bob” G. Gatza, born March 8, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, and most recently of Wheaton, Illinois, peacefully finished his earthly stay on May 4, 2026. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He shared 58 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carol Ann. Bob lived with integrity, gentleness, generosity, warmth, and a bright smile that made others feel seen. His life was marked by an enduring hope in Christ.

In lieu of flowers or a memorial service, Bob’s family suggests donations to the Immune Deficiency Foundation (www.primaryimmune.org) in support of its work advocating for individuals and families affected by primary immunodeficiency, including children like Bob’s grandson.
