It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Flynn, who passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026 at the age of 67.

To know Robert was to know someone who loved deeply, laughed often, and always found a way to help others with kindness, his generosity, or with his sense of humor. Whether sharing stories, lending a hand, or simply spending time with family, he made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was a proud member of the local union 30 and worked as a union painter for over 40 years, building a career marked by dedication, quality workmanship, and professionalism.

Robert was born on January 1st in Chicago, Illinois to James Flynn and Mary Doyle. Robert is survived by his sister Michele Hedlof and sister Suzanne Canada . He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a great-great-niece and great-great-nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Flynn.

Robert leaves behind numerous family members who will continue to honor his memory. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that love never truly ends. Robert's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched
