Robert (Bob) Dennis Ryan, age 84, of Carol Stream IL, formerly of Wheaton, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025.

Bob was born on October 3, 1941, in Chicago, IL.  He grew up in Lombard and attended Glenbard West High School. Bob became an apprentice, journeyman electrician, and business agent with Local 701 IBEW, and retired in 2001. In 1963 he met and married the love of his life, Patricia (Pat) Marie Carbone. They lived in Wheaton and had two children, Patty and John. Bob was a wonderful husband and father, and his family will always remember the love, support and kindness he showed to his family throughout his life.

Bob enjoyed fishing, golf, camping, fixing up his house, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He and Pat spent many years wintering in Orange Beach AL with a large group of friends and family. Some of his happiest times were while fishing on the beach with his family and living it up at the Flora-Bama.  After Pat passed away in 2018, he did his best to continue laughing and enjoying life. He eventually moved into Covenant Living at Windsor Park where he met many new friends and spent time with Pat's mother, Delphia Carbone. He loved a good cup of coffee, chicken wing Wednesdays, and get-togethers with his adult kids and grandkids.  Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, uncle, and brother. He lived his life to the fullest and served as an example of strength and goodness to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed.

Bob leaves behind his devoted daughter Patricia (Nicholas) Ryan Pinchok and son John Ryan; loving grandchildren Adam and Claire Pinchok, Shannon, Cole, and Megan Ryan; sister Deborah (Carmine) Locicero and brother Tom (Anne) Ryan. He was preceded in death by his wife Pat, parents Robert and Eleanor, and dear sister Patricia.
