Robert "Bob" Cavalco, age 87, a resident of Wheaton, IL, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, died on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton, IL. He was born February 15, 1933 in Evanston IL to Gus and Inga Cavalco.

Bob graduated from St. George High School in Evanston and then from Quincy College. He was drafted and served during the Korean War on the Armed Forces Radio. After his service, he began his career at Sunbeam Appliance Company where he worked his way to regional Vice President in the Houseware division. He then joined Bang and Olufsen as CEO. He chose to retire in 1988 after a satisfying and rewarding career.

His career took him all over the world where he thrived on public speaking and meeting people of all walks of life. He enjoyed golf and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. Most of all he loved to be around his family. He was a devoted Christian and active at Wheaton Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, three sons, Michael (Michelle) Cavalco of Bolingbrook, James (Debbie) Cavalco of Sandwich, IL, and Thomas (Kelly) Cavalco of Wabasha, MN. Also his four grandchildren, Kristi, Joseph, Katie and Jordyn, 5 great grandchildren, Kennedy, Myles, Giovanni, Lilli and Nora. Also his older brother, Richard (Jan) Cavalco of Milwaukee. He is also survived by step children, Mark and Steve Williams and families. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Carol Cavalco in 1998.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185.
