Obituary
Robert R. Cameron, M.D., age 69, a resident of West Chicago, died Tuesday, July 26, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He was born in Waukon, IA on September 16, 1935.
Dr. Cameron had a family practice in Villa Park for 30 years. He was a member of College Church in Wheaton for 29 years. He enjoyed volunteer ministry with Bible Study Fellowship where he served as a discussion leader for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cathy; three children, Jim of Chicago, Doug of Aurora, and Colleen of West Chicago; his sister, Marty (Ernie) Orshonsky of Lynwood; his brother, Dr. Bruce (Mary Ann) of Plymouth, MN; and six nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be donated to the Missions Fund at College Church, 332 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187; or to Bible Study Fellowship, 19001 Huebner Road , San Antonio, Texas 78258-4019.
