Robert V. Brown, age 81, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, peacefully at home. He was born May 30, 1939 in Elmhurst, IL to Vincent and Merle Brown. Bob grew up in Glen Ellyn where he was an eagle scout and graduated from Glenbard West High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Notre Dame University in 1961. He served in the US Army and then worked for Jewel Food Stores for many years as Director of Real Estate. Later he worked for H&R Block as a Tax Specialist.

He married Marilyn Cain on August 18, 1962. Bob enjoyed golf, tennis, and his garden railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Brown, his son, Michael C. (Kimberly) Brown, his grandsons, Graham (Courtney), Aaron, and Jordan Brown, and his brother, Charles (Melissa) Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Christian Church, 312 Geneva Rd., Glen Ellyn, IL Private interment will be held in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. A livestream of the service is found here .
