Richard W. Currence's Obituary
Richard W. Currence, age 66, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born June 14, 1944 in Cheyenne, WY.
Richard was a committed Christian who loved the Lord and had a real genuine heart for people. He made a lot of connections with people and was a good friend and helper to many.
He is survived by his wife, Alexa of Wheaton, IL and formerly of Brazil; two sons, Rikk (Holly) of Wheaton, IL, and David of Sheboygan Falls, WI; six stepchildren, Phillip (Judie), Debbie (Joe), Jackie, Susie, Robert, and Cynthia; many grandchildren such as Michelle "Missy" (Tim), Aston, Richard Wayne, and Kyle; and four siblings, Mary Lou, Earl "Pick", Tommy Ladd and Terry Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Alice; and his brother, Lloyd Allen "Sonny".
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
