Alexander Sidlaruk, age 101, beloved husband of the late Anastazja, loving father of Nick (Ann) Sidlaruk, Zoia (Dan) Rapinchuk, and the late Lydia (Allen) Schneider, dear grandfather of Tim, Carol, Grace, Daniel, Karen, Joy, Erika, Heidi, and Wendi, great-grandfather of 22. He was born in Ilosk, Poland and became a refugee after WWII. He and his family lived in a refugee camp for two years until coming to the US. He served as pastor of the Russian Evangelical Christian Church and was a board member of World Fellowship of Slavic Evangelical Christians. Visitation, Friday, Jan. 7, 9:30 to the time of a funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at Olson Funeral Home, 6471 N. Northwest Hwy., (1 Bl. W. of Devon) Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
